Dr. Achal Agrawal specialises in proctology, laparoscopic, and gastroe nterological surgery. He is the Director of Indore Laparoscopy Center. He chose to specialise on minimal access surgery after earning a Gold Medal and distinction for his post-graduate work in general surgery and after observing several pioneers in the field.
Under Dr. Pankaj Khandelwal, he received significant training in both basic and advanced laparoscopy (a renowned and pioneer Laparoscopic, GI surgeon at Baroda, Gujarat). He completed a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Surgical Gastroenterology at Kaizen Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, under the direction of Dr. Sanjeev Haribhakti after gaining the necessary skills in basic and advanced laparoscopy. There, he received in-depth training in advanced laparoscopic and open gastrointestinal surgeries, such as laparoscopic upper gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary, and colorectal surgeries, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies.
